Sebastian Magierowski received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2004. From 2004 to 2012 he served on the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary. In 2012 he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University, Toronto, Canada where he is an Associate Professor.

As part of his industrial experience (Nortel Networks, PMC-Sierra, Protolinx Corp.) Dr. Magierowski has worked on CMOS device modelling, high-speed mixed-signal IC design, and data networks. His research interests include analog/digital CMOS circuit design, communication systems, biomedical instrumentation, and signal processing for biomolecular sensing and analysis.
